When:First and Third Tuesday meetings at 7:30. Third Tuesday of each month is a dinner meeting at 6:30.
Where:Dinners are at local Restaurants which are chosen at the previous meeting. Meeting is then held at the legion Basement.

Call to Order. Vice President Wayne Marchant called the meeting to order at 1942 hrs.
Agenda. Moved by Rolly Stanke, seconded by Val Bissat to adopt the agenda as presented. Carried
Roll Call. The roll was called by Sharon Marchant. 15 of 19 members were present.
Previous Minutes. The minutes of the 7 April meeting were distributed. Moved by Val Bissat, seconded by Bonnie Stanke to adopt the minutes as presented. Carried.

b. 2 April - Lions Society of BC – request for funds and Open House dates (We have already donated)

e 2 April – MD 19 – Delegate Voting Certificates for delegates to Annual Convention 14-16 May

Treasurer's Report. The Treasurer reported there had been no change from the last report. Moved by Vic Popiel, seconded by Jim Rivett to accept the no change report. Carried.
RADAR Speed Board. Chair Bill Bissat advised that the RADAR Board had been operated on Friday and Monday of the Easter weekend and that a total of 8 volunteer hours had been completed.
Adopt a Highway Cleanup. The cleanup work party of all available members will meet at 1000 hrs 25 April at the old Esso Gas Station site to conduct the cleanup. Members were advised to wear sturdy footwear, bring gloves and be aware of the potential for wood ticks in the cleanup area. Safety vests, traffic advisory signs and garbage bags will be provided.
Beef in a Bun. Jim Rivett advised that planning for the event was well underway and distributed a volunteer sign up list for the various activities required for the sale. It was agreed that the shelter tent purchased by the club last year would be deployed to determine if it was suitable for the event.
70 Mile Access Centre Wheel Chair Ramp Project – Wayne Marchant reported that he and Bud Cade had examined the site and developed a material list for the ramp. The Estimated cost of materials is approx $400. Prior to further commitment it was agreed that a clear statement of what is required, including necessary specifications to satisfy safety/building code etc. Lion Vic was requested to confirm the needs of the SMAC Board and project specs.
Zone School. The school will take place at 1000hrs, 26 April in the Legion Basement. Six member from the club indicated they would attend the school. (Note: following the meeting other clubs advised that a total of 19 Lions from the Zone would attend the school. Lunch for a total of 25 will be ordered)
Village Rec Commission Cub Rep. Howard Gates volunteered to attend the Rec Commission meeting on 23 April on behalf of the club. Thanks Lion Howard!
DogGuides. Bonnie Stanke indicated an interest in Dog Guides including the upcoming Walk for Dogs events that will occur across the country. While it is too late for the club to sponsor such a fund raiser for this year it is not too late for individuals to participate in the Walk for Dogs in another communities
.Tail Twister. The Tail Twister conducted a 50/50 draw. Lion Wayne made off with $3.50 and the TT Lion did the same!
